Aaron Flake

Hometown:  Berryville, AR

Birthday:  May 22

College:  University of Arkansas

Growing up Aaron played baseball year-round ranging from local league teams to teams that traveled the country.  As a young player he made two appearances at the USSSA World Series.  After youth travel ball he moved on to playing on showcase teams with both the 16U and 18U Arkansas Elite team.  He also spent some time playing with the 18U Rawlings Prospect team.

As a Freshman at Subiaco Academy he earned "Rookie of the Year" honors for having one of the top batting averages in the conference and was named to the All-Conference team as a Senior.

The high point of Aaron's playing career was traveling to several different colleges for recruiting workouts which included Ole Miss, Duke, Missouri S&T, and Delta State.  Aaron's playing career came to an end when he suffered a career ending injury.  He didn't let that stop his love for the game though.  Instead he turned his focus to coaching and has been giving lessons over the past three years.  He has also coached a 12U Prospect team as well as assisted many others.  Aaron say's his favorite so far has been the two years that he spent coaching at Heritage High School where he truly fell in love with coaching.

Aaron currently enjoys playing competitive slow pitch while he works toward a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Arkansas with a focus on coaching.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Chole, his two cats (Mabel and Toothless) and his two dogs (Bear and Kimber).

Aaron is available weekly for baseball hitting and pitching lessons.  He also coaches our 11u Strike Zone Athletics baseball team.  Call the front desk to schedule with Aaron today.
