Jaclyn Herrera

Jaclyn has been providing individuals and teams with softball instruction for 16 years, though she has been around the game for over 30 years.  Her specialties include hitting and pitching, but she is well-versed in all aspects of the game.  She served as the assistant coach and pitching coach for the Hendrix College Warriors for three years.  During her tenure as an athlete at Hendrix College, she was an All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team selection in 2009 and an honorable mention for each of the other three seasons.  Herrera was also named to the 2010 SCAC All-Sportsmanship Team and was a two-time Commissioner's Honor Roll selection.  She also earned 2011 NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete recognition.  She graduated from Hendrix College with a degree in Kinesiology in 2011.
Her hobbies and interests include outdoor activities (slow-pitch softball, hiking, gardening), movies and MLB baseball (Texas Rangers).  Her family resides in Northeast Texas and she loves visiting them as frequently as she can.
